Enhancements and other stuff...
Add What You Like! I am fascinated by the many and various enhancements (additives) that our customers use to make the tea more palatable for their taste. My neighbor lady mixes the tea with Chocolate SlimFast and loves it. My Aunt adds some concentrated frozen Grape Juice. I usually drink the tea without any taste enhancers but like to try out the different additives that our customers use. The most popular additive seems to be natural Honey. Orange Juice runs a close second in the rankings.
I recently recalled a famous drink that we pilots used to make for the occasional "Room Parties" that occured during our layovers at various cities. The drink was called a "Rangoon Ruby" (Vodka and Cranberry juice). One of our notarious Captains originated the concoction many eons ago. You can't taste the Vodka when mixed with Cranberry Juice!
I bought some Cranberry Juice (no Vodka) and tried it with the tea. It is a delightful drink!
I've also received reports of several other enhancements such as "Green Tea" and "Yerba Mate" Tea.
You can mix the tea with almost anything to make the taste more palatable to your taste!
Moving Right Along! My attempt to collaborate with Dr. Jon Brooks, as mentioned in the last newsletter, was not successful... no response. I speculate that he has his own agenda and is quite involved with developing his project with the "Children's Ranch". I am disappointed as this opportunity could have been very fruitful.
Our effort with Dr. Carletti in Italy is progressing. This effort should result in setting up a distributorship for Pau d'Arco Tea throughout Italy and possibly all of Europe.
The high shipping costs for small orders to Europe is prohibitive. This can be resolved if we can develope a professional source to distribute Pau d'Arco tea in that area of the world... We are developing new packaging for our product. We are now using cellophane bags to package the tea. Cellophane has been certified by the FDA to be best for packaging most food products. We have ordered new (very nice) paper boxes for the individual one pound packages which will enhance the presentation of the product..
New Symptoms or Side Effects! I received an email last week that concerns me enough to make a comment. A lady was concerned about her husband who had developed a new pain in his chest and stomach. Her first thought was that the pain may be associated with the Pau d'Arco tea since her husband had been drinking the tea for over two months.
Since a negative report about the tea is extremely rare, I suggested that she have her oncologist (MD) diagnose the problem because since it could quite possibly be a problem not related to the tea.
She notified me later that there was a new problem not necessarily related to the tea and that her husband was scheduled for treatment soon.
Pau d'Arco tea is a remarkable treatment for many afflictions and negative side effects are essentially non-existant.
Always confer with your professional medical specialist to diagnose any new symptoms that you may experience. LETS ROLL!
